I have no idea what I'm babling here so you are probably correct (don't have a Dictionary here) or we can call it "unsubstanciated Rumours" (at least if that's written correctly )

No, its simply hearsay and not something we should get involved in.

Threads that are locked are locked for specific reason -- no one here has really over stepped any boundry lines. Even RevJack's post is not necessarily out of line, now if we began discussing it that would be a horse of a different color.

Wouldn't it be the type of speculation that is expected when the CEO of an organization gives an interview a week+ after leaving his company (of several years) and weeks later the company is still tight-lipped about its leadership situation?

Well, well, well...

Me smells some smoke... and where there's smoke, there's usually a fire
...

Intriguing to say the least...

CEO, CFO, and other high-ranking officials including the comptroller and the head of the Linux engineering team had also left by July 31.

This however brings up all kinds of intriguing things though. I still contend that KC didn't leave voluntarily... NO CEO would leave their job just BEFORE some BIG happenings... Linspire 6.0, CNR, Freespire 2.0.... etc, ... to pursue "other Interests"... Once again... that is suit speak for " I'll give you 10 minutes to get your stuff, resign, and get out....or your fired".... and now the CFO (Chief Finanicial Officer), comptroller, and head software engineer leave at the same time??? Somebody was cooking the books, or something... I don't believe in coincidences in this kind of stuff... Something rotten and possibly even sinister is brewing over there.

We shall see.

Or there was a showdown between MR and the top tier at the Linspire coral and MR won. So the other kids took their ball and went to play on another ball diamond. See, I can speculate too...
However, it is still just rumor -- we don't know who other than KC has left. Though I don't believe the SVN would have reported what he did if there was not some degree of truth be hind it.

Giggle... my vain and idle imaginings for the day are that they didn't want to release FS 2.0 until CNR was more along in its development...

Have a great day!

I would suspect somewhere between both speculations...

But I believe the "showdown topic" was closer to mine... LOL

As a Christian and minister, I refuse to get involved is such rumor-mongering, as it is unchristlike behavior and really amounts to gossip/talebearing which is unscriptural for Christians to involve themselves in.

We may not ever find out or need to know the "FULL" story, but we sure do need to hear something from the new leadership about what's going on, and I would think some announcements needs to be coming ASAP or else speculation about the worst scenarios will appear justified. The longer the silence continues the worse the implications for both the past and the future.
