I'd suggest Carey. He has been trying to douse some of the animosity in here with responses that actually indicates Spire cares about it's users.

and agree again :)
Although I really wanted to give a "me too" to mike102282's nomination, it seems like the last week DrHu has been very busy (and all the posts I saw were helpful ones w/ Freespire's new release).
About rep points (I noticed I have one) ... I looked in the FAQ's and wiki and didn't see anything about it, could someone give me a link (or a clue). TIA

TIAFrom the vBulletin manual:Users gain and lose reputation based on how their posts are scored by other forum participants. Users with the ability to affect reputation, will either give or take aways points by approving or disapproving with a post's content.Other factors that affect the rating are Registration Date and Post Count.

One thing I would look at doing is getting rid of reputation points altogether because its become some kind of political game on this forum Anyone who makes a remark someone doesn't like gets rated down, even if its true or god forbid to disagree with KCarmony.
On the other hand people who have knowledge often don't get points for it while people who make simple answers like what version are you using?, while a valid point, its not really providing a lot of help.
Anyway the volume of posts should not be considered as much as whether the person acutally provides are workable soltution.
Right now is just some kind of an old boy slap on the back thing going on here thats not really helpful to anyone.

Thanks, I have other questions about it (what users have ability/responsibility? where's vBulletin man linked?) but they aren't pressing and would be further off-topic. Oh, and thanks to whoever gave me mine:)
it is odd that I can approve/disapprove of myself (or at least am linked) but I can't alert mods about my bad post?

Unfortunately it doesnt work that way. We can only select one.
