What patches does LinSpire use?
I would like to update my kernel to atleast 2.6.19 to fix an issue I have with older kernels. I want to try and replicate the newer kernel with the same patches that 2.6.14 uses that comes with LinSpire so I don't lose any of my features that the kernel has.

I don't need any details on how to go about doing it I just want to know all the patches used as I can do the kernel on my own.

Also, If I recall we can incorporate different repo's now with cnr. I would like to create some of my own packages and then my own repo for them. Mostly just some updates to software I currently use. I don't want to move over to freespire as I am not to keen on some aspects of how it is setup.

To the best of my knowledge noone has successfully updated the Linspire kernel. You can check with Cloudy I know he worked on it at one point not sure if he ever got it working though.

I can use a vanilla 2.6.20.3 kernel in LinSpire just fine. But I am unaware of the patches that are used in the LinSpire pre-built kernels.
I am pretty sure it uses super mount patch. And some form of FB patch for the graphical boot-up process but I am unsure of wich one it uses.
Those for me would be my main concern. I can patch up with other things as needed but I wanted to try and keep it LinSpire friendly in a way.

Well I guess that they have some homebrew patches. Like it will have for the future version of Linspire for the sound module if everything is working ok.

But a list of patches could be very handy.
