Freespire freezes during bootup (about 20% progress bar) when I'm not within range of my Wifi network. This also happens with Linspire 5v2. It's a ThinkPad X40 with an Atheros PCI Wifi card.

Booting in "Diagnostics" mode shows the following when it freezes:

Could not find the ip/netmask for ath0
run-parts: /etc/network/if-up.d/999firewall exited with return code 2
snd-seq

Any suggestions? When I'm at home (within wange of my router) it boots up just fine and everything works perfectly.

Try going to the wireless icon in the corner, right click on it, and select automatically switch profiles before you leave, maybe? Just a thought.

**Bump** - Has anyone figured this out or seen this before? I'm about to wipe out my FreeSpire partition, but I thought I'd give this another look before I do. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for looking!Guessing this is happening with FS 1.0.13 (hopefully a new FS 2.0 Alpha will be available soon to possibly resolve this)???
